Community Guidelines
sodalife is where people connect with creators through chat, audio calls, live streams, live rooms and events. These guidelines explain how we expect everyone to behave, so that sodalife stays friendly, safe and fair for viewers and creators alike.
OUR FIVE BASICS
1. Be Yourself
โ DO
- Use a profile photo that shows you, and a name you are comfortable being known by.
- Keep your age, languages and creator details accurate.
- Keep just one account.
โ DON'T
- Pretend to be another person, creator, brand or sodalife staff.
- Use someone else's photos, or AI-generated faces or voices to fool people.
- Create extra accounts, or come back after being banned.
2. Respect Everyone
โ DO
- Be kind in chats, calls and live comments, even when you disagree.
- Accept "no" the first time, whether it is a declined call, request or question.
- Use Block if a conversation is not working for you.
โ DON'T
- Insult, bully, threaten or shame anyone.
- Attack people for their religion, caste, race, nationality, gender, or disability.
- Keep messaging or calling someone who has not replied or has said no.
3. Keep It Clean
sodalife does not allow sexual content of any kind, including in private chats or 1-on-1 calls.

- Dress as you would in public.
- Keep conversations friendly and respectful.
โ DON'T
- Show or ask for nudity, underwear or sexual acts.
- Offer or ask for sexual services.
- Wear suggestive or revealing clothing on camera.
4. Adults Only
sodalife is strictly for people aged 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child exploitation.
โ DO
- Keep sodalife an adults-only safe space.
- Report any suspected minor accounts immediately.
โ DON'T
- Let anyone under 18 appear on camera or in calls.
- Show photos or videos of children.
- Have conversations involving minors.
5. Stay Safe
โ DO
- Keep your phone number, address, workplace and bank details to yourself.
- Report anyone asking for money or private personal details.
- End calls immediately if you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
โ DON'T
- Share passwords or one-time verification codes (OTP).
- Agree to meet strangers in private.
- Encourage self-harm or dangerous acts.
6. Keep Payments on sodalife
โ DO
- Use Soda Units and in-app subscriptions for all creator interactions.
- Tip and pay creators exclusively through verified in-app features.
โ DON'T
- Send or ask for money through UPI, direct bank transfers, or cash.
- Offer or request off-platform paid services.
- Claim to offer refunds outside official in-app channels.
7. For Creators Going Live
โ DO
- Ensure a safe, well-lit background.
- Describe your live events honestly and accurately.
- Use only music, videos or content you have legitimate rights to.
- Actively moderate your room chat.
โ DON'T
- Go live while driving, operating machinery, or under intoxication.
- Promote gambling or unapproved brand promotions.
- Broadcast others without their explicit consent.
8. For Viewers
โ DO
- Treat creators with kindness and respect.
- Respect creators' personal time, schedules and boundaries.
- Support creators with genuine engagement.
โ DON'T
- Demand personal favours or off-app contact.
- Record, screenshot or distribute streams/calls without consent.
- Initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes.
9. Honest and Legal
Follow all applicable laws and regulations. You may not promote scams, pyramid schemes, sell illegal goods, support terrorism or violent groups, spread harmful misinformation, or use bots and spam.
10. Outside sodalife
If someone commits a serious offence against a sodalife member outside the app (such as violence, stalking, harassment or fraud), we may take enforcement action on their sodalife account when clear evidence is presented.
11. Reporting and Violations
If you encounter any objectionable content or behaviour, use the in-app menu to Report and Block. Reports are strictly confidential.
Enforcement includes warnings, feature limits, temporary strikes, and permanent account bans. Refer to our Moderation Policy for full details.
